About Us
We live in San Francisco , California , in a Victorian house right near Golden Gate Park
We met in 2003, were married in 2005, and began the adoption process in the fall of 2009. In November of 2010 we were matched with a birth mother and Sam, our first child, was born in January, 2011. We had a great experience adopting Sam and are ready for our second child!

Enjoying a picnic
Most of our time is spent with Sam- whether it is trying to teach him how to use a spoon or playing with his toys. Since Sam came into our lives, we now love to have friends over to our house, make a big dinner, laugh a lot, and play with Sam. We also like to exercise so a few times a week, we run, bike, do yoga, or just go for a long walk. We love being connected to the outdoors in the nearby beaches and parks and take Sam and Lucy there frequently. Our quiet time is spent reading mysteries. Sue goes to the library almost every week to keep us stocked with good books. Sam already has his own library card!
